Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must read, write and have basic math skills.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of computer warehousing applications preferred.
• Experience or ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse machinery preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect incoming furniture shipments to meet quality standards.
• Stage and organize delivery loads for efficient routing.
• Prepare customer pickup orders with care and accuracy.
• Assist customers with balance payments and required documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve order discrepancies quickly.
• Use inventory systems and barcoding to receive, transfer and track merchandise.
• Deliver professional customer interactions and represent the company well.
• Support merchandising by locating and moving products for showroom displays.
• Unload and receive vendor shipments following reporting and inventory procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment and operability.
