Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker for a part-time role. The position involves assisting in distribution and receiving, verifying product quantities, and assembling/packing orders for shipment in a fast-paced food warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures including but not limited to security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (e.g., cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
