Job summary

EchoStar is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage the flow of satellite equipment, receivers, and related hardware in our warehouse and on service vans. You will ensure accurate stock counts and prepare items for shipment or return to refurbishing.

Applicants should be able to lift multiple items, operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and maintain careful records. Weekend availability and a valid state driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of employment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, with overtime compensation.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally to 125 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Document quantity and type of equipment stocked in the warehouse and on vans for installations and service calls.
• Maintain accurate counts of van, warehouse, and saleable products daily/weekly/monthly.
• Receive returned equipment and shipments; stock inventory and prepare items for return to re-manufacturing; record data in the tracking system.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Inventory Specialist manages the flow of material and equipment (satellite dishes, our award winning receivers and DVRs and associated hardware) in and out of the warehouse supporting both our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Document the quantity and type of equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the warehouse and/or on vans, as well as all materials needed for various installations and service calls
• Maintain an accurate physical count of van products, warehouse products, and saleable products on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis
• Receive returned equipment, new inventory, and vendor shipments; stock the inventory in the warehouse; prepare shipments for return to the re-manufacturing department, and record distributed hardware information in the computer tracking system

• Must possess a valid driver's license in the State you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets DISH's minimum safety standard

• Employees must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, and/or a forklift)

Compensation: $18.25/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
