The University of Colorado Boulder Psychology Department seeks a part-time Professional Research Assistant to manage a prairie vole colony and perform dynamic animal husbandry duties within our social behavioral neuroscience laboratory. The successful candidate will support ongoing brain-behavior research and maintain detailed records while contributing to various neuroscience techniques as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in neuroscience or related field; research experience with animal models.
• Experience maintaining detailed protocols and databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Reliability and strong communication to work within a team.
• Experience in animal behavioral analysis and statistical analysis software is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Colony management and animal husbandry.
