Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching.
• Plans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individuals.
• Creates and posts written clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge base and learning needs.
• Corrects and returns homework, quizzes, tests, lab work and other written assignments promptly.
• Contributes to program development and evaluation in collaboration with the College and staff.
