Job summary

Headliner Music Academy in Rocklin, CA is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Violin Teacher to join our growing team. We value a passion for music, strong communication with students, and the ability to make violin learning engaging and rewarding.

In this role you will teach private and semi-private lessons, adapt to various ages and skill levels, and create a positive, goal-oriented learning environment. Compensation is hourly with a flexible, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to communicate music concepts to students (all ages).
• Advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to violin.
• Excellent time management and organization in a lesson.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities.
• Experience with youth or beginner musicians.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private lessons using our own curriculum and cover song arrangements
• Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere
• Help students set goals and track their musical progress
• Assess students' readiness to participate in bands, ensembles, or other performance opportunities
• Assist at school events
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academy staff
