Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency operating Sony FX6 and A7-series cameras.
  • Knowledge of professional audio capture and mixing (lavalier, boom, wireless mics).
  • Experience with practical lighting for studio and on-location shoots.
  • Experience using ProPresenter for live graphics and playback.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere for media organization and exports.
  • Strong troubleshooting in live production; calm, adaptable, solutions-focused.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, off-hours, travel to shoots.

Responsibilities

  • Support studio and on-location video productions across directing, TD, camera, lighting, audio, and talent support.
  • Operate Blackmagic switchers and studio cameras, Sony A7/FX6, ProPresenter, and pro audio gear.
  • Configure and execute camera, lighting, and audio setups per production requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and manage equipment setup/breakdown.
  • Maintain and inventory studio and field production equipment to stay production-ready.
  • Support on-location shoots including transport, setup, breakdown, B-roll, and event photography.
  • Collaborate with producers and internal marketing, social media, and events teams.
  • Prepare media for editorial handoff and provide basic editing in Premiere.
  • Be flexible to support occasional evenings, off-hours, or travel as needed.

The Video Production Specialist will provide hands‑on support throughout the production process, assisting with both studio and on-location shoots. Responsibilities may include directing and technical directing, camera operation, lighting, audio, and real‑time troubleshooting to ensure seamless production execution.

Responsibilities
  • Support studio and on‑location video productions across a range of functions, including directing, technical directing, camera operation, lighting, audio, and talent support.
  • Operate Blackmagic Design switchers and studio cameras, Sony A7/FX6 cameras, ProPresenter, and professional audio equipment.
  • Configure and execute camera, lighting, and audio setups based on production requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and manage equipment setup, breakdown, and preparation before and after productions.
  • Maintain, organize, and inventory studio and field production equipment to ensure all gear is production‑ready.
  • Support on‑location shoots, including equipment transportation, setup and breakdown, B‑roll capture, and event photography.
  • Collaborate closely with producers and internal marketing, social media, and events teams to support a variety of video and live production needs.
  • Prepare and organize media for editorial handoff and provide basic editing support using Adobe Premiere.
  • Maintain flexibility to support occasional evening, off‑hours, or on‑location productions as needed.

  • 4-8+ years of professional experience in video production, grip work, or a related production environment.
  • Proven experience directing and/or technical directing multi‑camera studio productions.
  • Hands‑on experience with Blackmagic Design switchers and studio cameras.
  • Strong proficiency operating Sony cameras, including FX6 and A7 series models.
  • Solid knowledge of professional audio capture and mixing, including lavalier, boom, and wireless microphone systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with practical lighting for both studio and on‑location productions.
  • Experience using ProPresenter for live graphics, cueing, and playback.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere for media organization, basic editing, and content exports.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solutions‑focused in live production environments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, off‑hours, and travel to external shoot locations as needed.
