Job summary

Daggett County is seeking a part-time Victim Assistance Coordinator in Manila, UT to support the Dutch John community. The role combines outreach, program leadership, and direct advocacy, with a schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

You will engage with individuals and the wider community to strengthen victim services, lead outreach, train law enforcement, and recruit volunteers. You will also prepare reports for county leadership, develop a network of volunteer advocates,

Qualifications

• High school diploma with specialized training in victim assistance program management and operations.
• 2+ years of experience in victim advocate settings or related human services.
• Understanding of crisis intervention theory, victim's rights, and justice system procedures.
• Excellent communication and ability to maintain confidential materials.

Responsibilities

• Present to community groups to lead outreach and awareness.
• Host training for law enforcement and represent the program at events.
• Recruit and develop a volunteer advocate network through interviews, onboarding, and training.
• Assign caseloads, monitor progress, and provide feedback to volunteers.
• Assess victims' safety needs, create safety plans, and advocate within the justice system.
• Coordinate services by connecting agencies and ensuring clear communication.
