Job summary

Plantation Animal Clinic, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician in Matthews, NC to provide end-to-end care for our patients. You will perform outpatient care, assist with treatments, and support labs with a focus on anesthesia and patient monitoring.

You will collaborate with doctors and the care team to ensure smooth admissions and discharges, while maintaining high standards of client communication and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• CVT/RVT/LVT active and current preferred.
• Excellent anesthesia skills and ability to monitor patients.
• Strong communication, leadership and organization.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end care for patients during outpatient treatments.
• Assist doctors and perform laboratory tests.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients.
