PetVet Care Centers Germantown in Memphis, TN is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client care and coordinating front-desk tasks in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

The position emphasizes customer service, data entry, and basic pet care support, with a schedule Mon, Thu, Fri 8:00am-5:00pm and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience in veterinary medicine
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old

• Provide excellent in-person and phone customer service during all interactions.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.

Position Overview

Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist.

PetVax Complete Care Centers Germantown in Memphis, Tennessee, is a full-service veterinary practice offering comprehensive care, from preventive services to advanced medical treatment. With a focus on convenience and compassionate care, the team is dedicated to supporting pets’ health at every stage of life.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications (Required)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine

Schedule

• Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
• Weekend as needed

Pay Range

$16 — $18 USD
