Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• Must have Veterinary Assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet patients and owners and record vital signs
• Triage patients, assist with exams and medications
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraint
• Perform laboratory tests and radiographs
• Maintain hospital equipment and records
• Fill prescriptions and document medications accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of hospital and kennels
• Groom and care for hospitalized patients
• Communicate positively with clients and educate on insurance and wellness plans
• Ensure safety and follow instructions from DVM/LVTs
• Promote hospital products and services and assist in other duties as needed
