Job summary

Lake Norman at Mooresville Animal Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Veterinarian to join our general practice with a consistent home hospital assignment. Balance clinical engagement with flexibility, supported by a nationally resourced culture of care.

You’ll perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, surgery and client education while maintaining medical records. The role offers pro-rated pay, competitive salary, and opportunities for growth within a locally led team.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current State Veterinary License is required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties and controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Work with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
