Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License is required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of veterinary practice experience.
• Excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Strong communication with clients and team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical workups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care plans.
• Perform surgeries and dental procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Follow controlled substance protocols for medications.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager and staff on priorities.
• Monitor hospital cases and participate in rounds when possible.
• Contribute to practice management updates and training.
