Job summary

Red Rocks Animal Center in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Part-Time Veterinarian to join our locally led hospital. You’ll provide essential veterinary care while maintaining balance between clinical engagement and flexible scheduling, with supportive national resources backing our team.

You’ll perform exams, diagnostics, and minor surgeries, collaborate with a skilled support staff, and enjoy a generous CE allowance, licensing reimbursements, and a culture of care that prioritizes wellbeing for pets

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD and active state license required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ year veterinary practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Client communication and education.
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Pharmacy duties and controlled substances compliance.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Work with Hospital Manager on priorities.
• Attend daily rounds and participate in training.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
