PetVet Care Centers in Johns Creek, GA seeks a Part-Time Veterinarian to provide high-quality care with predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment. You will work with a local team supported by national resources, balancing clinical engagement with a sustainable schedule.

Qualifications include a DVM/VMD, active state license, DEA registration, and at least 1 year of experience, with strong diagnostics, surgery, and client communication skills.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
• Active State Veterinary License required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ year of veterinary practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent surgical and dental skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication with clients and staff.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients to educate and inform.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Handle pharmacy duties and controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and efficiency within the hospital.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
