Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian with a DVM or VMD from an accredited college.
• Current State Veterinary License required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate on care.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Manage pharmacy duties and controlled substances protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and daily operations.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
