PetVet Care Centers in Augusta, Georgia seeks a part-time veterinarian to join Highland Animal Hospital. You'll provide comprehensive exams, client education, and high-quality medical care while balancing your schedule with a locally led team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License is required.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of veterinary practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Client communication and education
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and controlled substances
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Weekly priorities with Hospital Manager
• Monitor daily protocols from intake to discharge
• Participate in practice management updates and training
• Performs other duties as assigned
