Job summary

Guardian Outreach Ministries Inc. is seeking a part-time Outreach Specialist to engage communities at golf courses and events, helping veterans and first responders. You will set up materials, welcome attendees, share the mission, and extend the organization’s reach across cities like Phoenix, Nashville, Dallas–Fort Worth, and Los Angeles.

This role offers a flexible schedule Thursday–Sunday, daily local travel, and opportunities for growth within a faith-centered nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Professional, dependable, and engaging demeanor.
• Tech-savvy with smartphone use for updates/reporting.
• Comfortable working Thursday–Sunday shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors during events.
• Experience in golf, community outreach, promotional events, fundraising, customer service, hospitality, or sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at a local golf course or community event, set up materials, and become the welcoming face of Guardian Community.
• Engage golfers and attendees in friendly conversation, share the mission, answer questions, and build genuine connections.
• Facilitate outreach activities, speak with potential supporters, and ensure the event runs smoothly from setup to breakdown.
• Each interaction contributes to bringing awareness and support to veterans and first responders in the community.
