Job summary

MRG Exams seeks a Clinical Psychologist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans in Capshaw, AL. You will review records electronically and conduct in-person exams, documenting findings for VA disability determinations. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medications.

Part-time schedule: 2 days/week, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with a 4-veteran/day caseload. Equipment provided; strong integrity and empathy with Veterans are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
• Disallow treatment or prescribing; determinations are made by the VA.
