Qualifications
- Must be able to multi-task and provide positive customer service.
- Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and team oriented.
- Ability to work with a veterinary team and support clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Check patient medical records and enter data.
- Take medical histories and vital signs.
- Maintain client educational materials.
- Perform housekeeping duties for the department.
- Admit and discharge patients.
- Process and log prescription refills in-house, call out external pharmacies.
- Monitor hospital patients and log vital signs.
- Administer medications as needed.
- Perform blood draws.
- Communicate with clients in person and by phone.
- Restrain and assist the doctor during exams, treatments, and anesthesia.
