Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, with an active Georgia veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one.
• A veterinarian who is confident practicing independently and comfortable managing the day’s appointments, medical cases, and clinical decisions without another veterinarian physically on-site.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.
• A collaborative, proactive team member who values client education and positive working relationships.
• A veterinarian interested in a flexible part-time opportunity with the ability to focus on preferred areas of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care tailored to your clinical interests and experience.
• Examine patients, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
• Perform surgical and dental procedures if aligned with your interests and experience.
• Provide house-call services if desired and appropriate for the role.
• Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff to deliver an excellent patient and client experience.
• Exercise sound clinical judgement, including recognizing when referral or consultation is appropriate.
