Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Part Time Clinical Consultant (PTCC) in Carlsbad, CA to support ventricular device education and patient management across assigned accounts. The role requires a strong CICU/CVICU background and hands-on case support, with readiness for weekend work and some travel.

You will acquire product knowledge, deliver education in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings, collaborate with the Clinical Support Center, and maintain credentialing requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license strongly preferred or relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in CICU/CVICU/CVOR or Cath Lab; CVICU highly preferred.
• Some industry experience is a plus.
• Significant experience with ventricular medical devices (minimum of 10 cases/patients).
• Must provide a minimum of 2 live support days within the field (total of 5 days per month).
• Availability includes 1 weekend per month.
• Ability to work on weekends, nights, holidays and various shifts.
• Ability to work at other hospitals and clear vendor credentialing requirements.
• Immunizations up to date as required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and demonstrate knowledge of products/therapies and their applications.
• Improve patient outcomes by delivering ventricular device education in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab.
• Provide ventricular medical device case support, including on-call support.
• Complete proactive rounds for patients receiving support and provide assistance.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Support Center for ongoing support as necessary.
• Maintain clinical competency in current product line and patient management, with ongoing education.
• Some travel may be needed.
