Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks highly motivated applicants for the part-time Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) role at our Manhattan facility. This position moves box trucks up to 26’ and may include tractors/trailers for CDL A holders. The role is on-call, with a schedule of 0–25 hours per week, located at 427 W.

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record
• Valid Class B CDL required; CDL Class A preferred
• English language proficiency for DOT compliance
• Willingness to pass a drug screen and physical per DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures when driving to Penske locations or customer locations
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety readiness and report issues
• Obtain receipts/signatures for deliveries and collect payments when required
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to vehicles
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
