Job summary

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a part-time vascular surgeon in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role covers bedside wound care across multiple facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, with no nights, no call, and a flexible schedule.

The work includes weekly wound rounds, adherence to wound care protocols, and real-time documentation using our EMR. Part-time requires a minimum of 3 days per week, with opportunities for full-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted MD/DO license in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• Full-time vs part-time schedule with 4–5 days for full-time; 3 days for part-time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as SNFs and LTACHs.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at facilities.
• Visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius and see 20–30 patients per day.
• Document care in real-time using a wound-specific EMR.
