Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Vascular Sonography within the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at the Western Campus. You will prepare materials, deliver course activities, and assess student work to achieve course outcomes.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, RVT certification, and at least two years of vascular experience, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Minimum of two years full-time vascular experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent).
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational abilities.
• Sensitivity to community needs.

Responsibilities

• Teaches vascular sonography and related program admission courses.
• Delivers learning activities to achieve course outcomes.
• Prepares syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
• Evaluates and grades class work, labs, papers, and exams.
• Maintains attendance records, grades, and deadlines.
• Provides coaching to students and participates in meetings with supervisors and College personnel.
