Eastern Panhandle Instructional Cooperative seeks part-time EPIC transportation staff to drive children to school in Berkeley County. Morning and afternoon runs, with occasional deliveries to families.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, a valid Class D license, at least 2 years driving, a clean record, and must pass background checks and health checks. Part-time/as-needed schedule follows the school calendar.
Employment Term: Part-Time/As Needed
Please note: Part-time/as needed EPIC staff do not work when assigned locations are closed due to breaks in the school calendar, holidays, inclement weather, remote learning, or any other reason when those events fall within the employment dates shown on the employee's annual employment letter.
Salary: $17.50 per hour - NTE 30 hours per week
Preference will be given to candidates with verified experience driving a van or school bus and/or working with children with special needs.
Transport children to school for morning and afternoon runs as well as other substitute or assigned runs as needed. May also be utilized to deliver food / supplies to county families.
