Job summary

Friends Outside in Susanville, CA seeks a part-time Van Driver for the Visitor Center Program. The role involves planning local transport, driving a passenger van, and helping clients visit incarcerated friends and family, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

You will coordinate routes, provide local travel information, maintain vehicle safety logs, and report to the Visitor Center Program Director. Required are a high school diploma, CA driver licenses and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CA Non-Commercial Class C Driver’s License with a valid Medical Certificate.
• California DMV Class A or B license with passenger endorsement; Class C license for <10 passengers.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain and provide routine travel schedules for local transportation.
• Coordinate routes to and from the institution, transporting visitors.
• Coordinate with Visiting Staff and Program Director to plan transportation for visitors.
• Maintain vehicle safety inspections and transportation logs.
