American Veterinary Group's UrgentVet Hospitals in Louisville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our after-hours team. This role focuses on common urgent cases with a single-doctor shift model, no wellness visits, and a flexible schedule.

You will provide relationship-based patient care, collaborate with a strong clinical team, manage varying caseloads including surgeries during open hours, and benefit from mentorship, CE support, and a modern, paperless clinic.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA accredited college.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the employed state (or ability to obtain).

Description

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Louisville, KY area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
