Job summary

SIMEDHealth in Gainesville, FL seeks an experienced APRN to join our Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on evaluating/ treating acute illnesses, performing DOT physicals, and collaborating with physicians to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida APRN license
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
• DOT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Provide occupational health services, including work-related injury care
• Perform DOT physicals (current certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document accurately and maintain high standards of clinical compliance
