Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a friendly and driven teller/client service associate in the United States. The role emphasizes delivering a distinctive client experience, guiding customers through digital banking options, and supporting the sales process through outreach and needs assessments.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, 2 years of teller or client service experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience preferred.
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with clients and prospects.
  • Ability to use PC keyboard and software for branch automation; able to multi-task under time constraints.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
  • Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and occasional extended hours or travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a distinctive client experience and engage clients with courteous conversations.
  • Educate clients on digital self-service solutions (ATMs, Online and Mobile banking).
  • Assist in client outreach, identify needs, and refer to appropriate team members.
  • Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
  • Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and trainings.
  • Advance product knowledge through meetings and training classes.
  • Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
  • Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
