Y-12 Federal Credit Union is seeking a branch associate to support daily operations, assist members with transactions, and promote credit union products. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, accuracy in handling deposits and loans, and adherence to branch policies.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with opportunities to develop sales skills and participate in ongoing training.
1. Assist branch in meeting performance standards monthly in addition to meeting individual performance standards monthly.
2. I nterview members and process applications for all types of consumer loans. Review application and documentation for completeness and accuracy according to credit union compliance guidelines.
3. Conduct all member account functions, including processing requests for new services, providing counseling, and cross-selling appropriate credit union products or services to benefit the member and achieve established sales goals.
4. Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with theirrecommendations .
5. Accurately receive, inspect and verify cash and negotiable instruments for deposit, accept loan payments and a variety of other monetary transactions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Balance transaction input at the end of each workday.
