Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking unarmed security guards for vehicle patrols in Arcadia, CA. This part-time, non-exempt role requires driving patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents to maintain a safe environment for clients and staff.

Responsibilities include documentation, coordination with dispatch, and providing excellent customer service. The position offers weekly pay and benefits; training and development opportunities are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements for driving positions.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations, unsafe behavior, or criminal activity.
• Perform thorough routine driving patrols of the assigned area.
• Conduct closing procedures for public parking lots including checking restrooms and closing gates.
• Monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
