Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Alpharetta, GA. This role provides reliable, scheduled hours at a fixed site with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple locations.

The role supports unarmed patrols, incident documentation, and customer service for employees and visitors, with a six‑month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to scale up

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 5 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and communicating access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
