Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in South Bend, IN. You will monitor assigned areas, assist visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service to help deter security incidents.

The role offers flexible scheduling (Fri–Sun, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM) and opportunity to build a schedule that works for you. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen where required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs.
