Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Montgomery, AL to monitor commercial real estate locations, assist tenants and visitors, and deter incidents through a visible, professional presence.

You will perform unarmed patrols, respond calmly to security-related concerns, and maintain accurate reports while upholding Allied Universal’s standards of integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; observe visitor and contractor activity; and maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing basic site information, and communicating security-related observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
