Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Mobile, AL. This Part Time position offers a flexible schedule and the chance to serve clients across various industries while building a local security career.

You will patrol assigned port areas, deter incidents, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with site management. A TSA TWIC is required, as is high school diploma and background screening.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
