Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in New Castle, DE. This role offers flexible, fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation per federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed security patrols of the facility and report anomalies.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting arrivals and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify responders.
• Complete activity logs and reports while upholding site procedures.
