Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE. You will provide on-site security, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional customer-service focus. The position requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum age of 18 for unarmed roles, and a high school diploma.

Driving duties apply where required. Schedules include Sat and Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with a pay rate of $18.39 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, access points and designated operational areas.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, facility conditions and hazards to site personnel.
• Support access-control procedures for employees, contractors and visitors in accordance with location requirements.
