Job summary

Ameritex Guard Services is seeking a Part-time Security Officer in Irving, TX. The role covers a 6 AM to 6 PM schedule with various shifts on weekends, including 12-hour shift options per posting.

You will patrol, monitor access points, and document daily activities to maintain safety and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have a clean background, Texas DPS license readiness, reliable transport, and the ability to communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must have the desire to learn and provide great customer service to our clients.
• Clean background with no felonies; must be able to obtain a Texas DPS license.
• Must have reliable transportation (own vehicle).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to write legible reports.
• Must have two valid forms of ID (e.g., Driver’s License/State ID and Social Security Card/Birth Certificate).
• Must have a Level II Guard License.
• Must be able to start immediately.
• Must have a neat, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Able to stand for 7-8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations.
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
