Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor and contractor entry processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and provide observations to request appropriate assistance.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.
