Job summary

Allied Universal in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol government locations, deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service. This role offers a flexible schedule via the Claim a Shift platform and requires a valid driver’s license.

You will perform routine patrols, report incidents, and coordinate with site personnel; minimum requirements include security experience, a HS diploma, and a background check.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Computer or tablet proficiency preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site personnel.
• Document patrols and incidents in reports and communicate with supervision.
