Allied Universal in Pico Rivera, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Driver to serve a retail location. The role involves providing customer service, performing foot and vehicle patrols, monitoring access points, and deterring security incidents.

You must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 years old, and pass background checks and a drug screen. Shifts include Fri/Sat/Sun on a rotating schedule with opportunities to advance through our shift-claim platform.

You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach to every interaction.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Assist with access control, directional assistance, and customer service while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
