Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for per diem shifts in Florham Park, NJ. The role requires OB/GYN or AB certification, ARDMS, BLS, and a completed accredited sonography program. 2+ years of ultrasound experience in outpatient or hospital settings is preferred.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures, producing diagnostic images, documenting patient history, and coordinating with Radiologists while ensuring patient safety and room cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' ultrasound experience in outpatient or hospital setting.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or AB certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Able to travel to satellite locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides ultrasound services per departmental policy and standards.
• Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Obtains patient history and documents pertinent information; communicates with Radiologist.
• Maintains exam room cleanliness and adheres to infection control standards.
• Operates equipment, performs QC checks, and reports malfunctions.
