Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
• 2-4 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all ultrasound procedures independently, adhering to department protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Verifies patient identification and ensures procedures are ordered and acknowledged prior to imaging.
• Recognizes and documents pathologies during scanning for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains patient care, safety, and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Keeps a clean, safe, and organized work environment and follows infection control guidelines.
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely per departmental policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR and scans documents into PACS.
