Job summary

Astrana Health is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technician to join our clinical operations team at 506 W. Valley Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91776. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and support timely, accurate patient care under radiologist guidance.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience, graduated from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program, and ARDMS is preferred. Schedule: Mon–Fri 4:00pm–8:00pm, Sat 8:30am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
• ARDMS registration/certification preferred.
• Ability to perform ultrasound exams per protocol with accurate measurements.

Responsibilities

• Review referring orders and patient history to identify imaging targets.
• Position patients and apply gel to the scan area for ultrasound scans.
• Adjust controls and transducer position to obtain high-quality images.
• Evaluate images for clarity and determine if repeats are needed.
• Record and update patient data in the radiology information system.
• Obtain explicit patient consent before any contact during procedures.
