Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time Educational Instructor to support out-of-school time programs for ages 5-13. You will deliver lessons, supervise participants, and help them reach their goals with engaging activities and supportive coaching.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Associate degree preferred, and strong communication skills. A valid driver's license and ability to travel for program needs are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
• One year of work experience in education; two+ years with at-risk populations preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Must have a valid state driver's license and be able to drive for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed lessons and supervise participants to reach program goals.
• Utilize classroom management skills; advise and counsel diverse student populations.
• Address questions, seek guidance from Lead Educational Instructor, reinforce learning.
• Motivate students to participate in discussions, research, enrichment and activities.
