Job summary

FutureHire is seeking a part-time ESL tutor in Akron to provide one-on-one English instruction to Filipino students. You will design personalized lessons, focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills, and monitor progress with regular feedback.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree (education/linguistics preferred), proven ESL tutoring experience, fluent English (Tagalog a plus), and strong communication skills. Online tutoring may be needed during the COVID-19 period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Linguistics, or related field
• Proven experience as an ESL tutor or teacher, preferably with Filipino students
• Fluency in English; Tagalog proficiency is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Patient, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching non-native speakers

• Keep track of attendance and submit monthly reports

Requirements

Salary

We are offering a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this part-time position

Location

The tutoring sessions will take place in Akron USA However due to the current COVID-19 pandemic online tutoring may also be required
