Job summary

Platinum Dental Services is seeking a skilled Traveling Endodontist to deliver advanced endodontic care across our Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and Scottsdale West offices. This part-time role offers a 4-day-per-month schedule with days flexible across locations, typically 8 AM to 5 PM, enabling you to focus on complex endodontic treatments and patient outcomes.

You'll join a collaborative team with dedicated clinical support and opportunities to grow within a developing specialty

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program.
• Residency in endodontics from an accredited program.
• Active dental license in the practice state or eligibility.
• Board certification in endodontics.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical endodontic skills.
• Commitment to ethical, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide endodontic care across multiple offices.
• Perform root canal therapy and retreatments as appropriate.
• Evaluate imaging and develop treatment plans.

As a Traveling Endodontist, you'll have the opportunity to bring specialized care to patients across multiple dental office locations while working alongside trained endodontic dental assistants and supportive clinical teams.

Travel Locations: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Scottsdale West.

Schedule: 4 days/month, traveling specialist. Days flexible across offices, approx. 8 AM - 5 PM.

What You'll Do

As a Traveling Endodontist, you'll provide specialized endodontic care across assigned Platinum Dental locations, helping patients preserve their natural teeth and achieve better oral health outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Travel between assigned dental office locations to provide specialized endodontic treatment
• Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues
• Perform root canal therapy, endodontic retreatments, and other endodontic procedures within your clinical expertise
• Evaluate diagnostic imaging and develop individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care
• Collaborate with general dentists to coordinate patient referrals and comprehensive treatment plans
• Work alongside trained endodontic dental assistants to ensure efficient, high-quality clinical care
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow established clinical and safety protocols
• Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, ethics, and professional integrity
• Support a positive patient experience through clear communication, compassion, and clinical excellence

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental program
• Completion of an accredited postgraduate residency program in endodontics
• Board certification in endodontics
• Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure before starting
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in endodontic treatment
• Commitment to providing ethical, high-quality, patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general dentists, specialists, and clinical support teams
• Willingness and ability to travel between assigned dental office locations
• A positive, professional attitude and commitment to continued clinical excellence
