Job summary

Platinum Dental is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our specialty team. You will travel between Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Chino Valley to assist the endodontist, support patient care, and maintain high standards of infection control.

Qualifications

• Experience in dental assisting, preferably in endodontics or another dental specialty.
• Current dental X-ray certification, as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
• Familiarity with endodontic procedures, instruments, and equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of infection control and dental safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Comfortable traveling between multiple dental office locations.
• Dependable, adaptable, and able to work effectively with different dental teams.
• Basic computer skills and experience with dental practice management software.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned dental office locations to support endodontic procedures.
• Assist the endodontist during root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for endodontic procedures.
• Set up and maintain specialized endodontic instruments and equipment.
• Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
• Welcome patients, explain treatment processes, and help them feel comfortable before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patients with post-operative care instructions.
• Follow proper sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms.
• Complete laboratory tasks and other clinical duties as directed.
• Assist with patient scheduling and support efficient daily clinical operations.
• Collaborate with the endodontist and office teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
