Job summary

Steelcrest Precision, formerly Wauseon Machine, is seeking skilled Toolmakers to join a small, quality-focused shop in Dublin, OH. This role offers 20–30 hours weekly with no fixed schedule, ideal for experienced craftsmen who value autonomy while delivering precision parts.

Responsibilities include programming and operating CNC mills and lathes, setting up tools, verifying dimensions, reading blueprints, GD&T, and ensuring clean, high-quality parts with minimal scrap.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience; additional education or certification preferred.
• Experience running CNC mills and/or lathes (Mazak, UMC, Haas, horizontal CNC, and manual lathes/mills).
• GD&T understanding and experience.
• Experience with setup and programming.
• Experience reading, writing, and editing G-Code.
• Ability to perform quality checks.
• Knowledge and use of specialty tooling.
• Strong math abilities and ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints.
